Jim has been a pastor at First CRC since 2017. He holds a Master’s of Divinity from Calvin Theological Seminary. He and his wife Suzie have 4 grown children and are pursuing adoption of a child from Ukraine. When he’s not working, Jim enjoys cooking, watching Star Trek, and cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays.

Blake has been pastoring here since 2019. He has multiple degrees from Moody Bible Institute, Olivet Nazarene University and just completed his Doctorate of Ministry. When he’s off the clock, he enjoys hanging out with his wife and their five children and listening to podcasts about history and literature.

Bethany has been on staff since 2011. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music in Worship and a Master’s Degree in Worship from Calvin College/Seminary. In her spare time, Bethany loves road-tripping and camping with her husband and four kids!

Libby has been on staff since 2022. She has a background in art and teaching. In her free time, you could find her hanging out with her husband and 5 kids, trying a new recipe, or spending time outdoors.

Deb has been serving at First as part-time secretary since 2008. We like to say that she runs the place! When Deb isn’t at work, she enjoys gardening, crafting, and painting.

Dennis has been on staff as Bookkeeper since 2004, but raised his now-grown family at First. When Dennis isn’t crunching numbers, he enjoys family time, traveling, and rooting for the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.

Dave and Cindy are new to our staff, but have been longtime members of the congregation. When they’re not serving at church, you could probably find them visiting with their children and grandchildren.
